movie: d.o.a

last saturday night i went to watch the movie D.O.A (dead or alive). D.O.A is a movie adaptation of the best selling video game series. now, i'm no movie critic and i usually enjoy every movie i see, and D.O.A is not an exception. however, i did think the story-line was a bit weak and boring. apart from being so darn predictable, i also thought the level of acting was quite poor. but what made it so entertaining was the amount of eye candy in every scene - the girls! oh whoa, what is more sexier than a bunch of sexy ladies kickin' the arse of testosterone-filled males? ^^

great movie with hot chicks and cool fight scenes! this is really sad to admit, but i came out of the movie feeling a little bit tired! i couldn't help but flinch and move as i was watching some of the fighting scenes! it was as if i was physically there, battling my arse off - but ofcourse, not to that extreme. lol just slight little movements was all it was. hey! shoosh.

anyways, it's nice to see holly valance dabbling in a little bit of acting, since her music career has gone downhill since the day it started hehe .. i think she has great potential, i hope to see her in many films to come. =)

the european commission has just announced an agreement whereby english will be the official language of the european union rather than german, which was the other possibility.

as part of the negotiations, the british government conceded that english spelling had some room for improvement and has accepted a 5- year phase-in plan that would become known as “euro-english” (or preferably, “si english”).

in the first year, “s” will replace the soft “c”. sertainly, this will make the sivil servants jump with joy. the hard “c” will be dropped in favour of “k”. this should klear up konfusion, and keyboards kan have one less letter. there will be growing publik enthusiasm in the sekond year when the troublesome “ph” will be replaced with “f”. this will make words like fotograf 20% shorter.

in the 3rd year, publik akseptanse of the new spelling kan be expekted to reach the stage where more komplikated changes are possible.

governments will enkourage the removal of double letters which have always ben a deterent to akurate speling.

also, al wil agre that the horibl mes of the silent “e” in the languag is disgrasful and it should go away.

by the 4th yer people wil be reseptiv to steps such as replasing “th” with “z” and “w” with “v”.
